Payment & Refund

On this page

Payment methods

We accept [CARD NETWORKS — e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express] and [OTHER METHODS — e.g. PayPal, Apple Pay]. Payment is taken when the order is placed.

Card details are handled by [PAYMENT PROCESSOR]. They never reach this website and we never store them; we receive only a confirmation that the charge succeeded, and the last four digits so a customer can recognise the charge.

Prices and tax

All prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. [CHOOSE ONE: Sales tax is calculated at checkout by state and added to the total. / Prices include all applicable tax.]

Shipping is shown separately at checkout before payment. The amount charged is the amount shown on the final confirmation screen.

Refunds

Once a returned item reaches us and passes inspection, the refund is issued to the original payment method within [N] business days. We email [FROM ADDRESS OR DOMAIN] when it is issued.

Banks and card issuers then take their own time to post the credit — commonly [N–M] business days, and longer for some international cards. That period is outside our control. If a refund has not appeared [N] business days after our email, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will send the processor's reference number, which your bank can trace.

What is refundedWhenAmount
Return accepted, our error On inspection Item price + original shipping + return postage
Return accepted, changed mind On inspection Item price only
Order cancelled before dispatch Immediately Full amount charged
Parcel lost in transit Once the carrier confirms Item price + shipping

Cancelling an order

An order can be cancelled for a full refund any time before it is dispatched. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the order number as soon as possible — orders are usually packed the next business day, so a cancellation sent hours after ordering is likely to succeed. Once dispatched, the return policy on Delivery & Return applies instead.

Failed or duplicate charges

A declined payment leaves no charge. If a pending authorisation appears on a statement and then disappears, that is the hold released — it is not a charge and no refund is needed. If an amount was genuinely charged twice, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] with the order number and we will have the duplicate reversed.

Disputes

Contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] before raising a chargeback. Almost every dispute we have seen was a parcel that could be found or a refund that could be issued, and both are faster than the card-network process.

This page is a template. Every [BRACKETED] value must be replaced with the real figure before the shop takes an order, and the result should be read by someone qualified to check it against the law of the state you sell from.
