In practice, the online-first categories are where the real movement happens — digital products, software subscriptions, and the smaller accessories that are easy to ship. Physical home and kitchen goods tend to have their best prices earlier in the weekend.
What to check before you buy anything
- The list price. Compare against the price a month ago, not against the "was" figure on the page.
- Delivery date. A discount that arrives after you needed it is not a discount.
- Return window. Seasonal items often have shorter return terms.
- Whether you will use it. The only question that survives every sale.
